Your key was likely generated by an older PGP implementation that used an insecure hash algorithm (such as SHA-1) to generate self-signatures.
By default PGPainless is rejecting SHA-1.
Either make sure that your key uses recent hash algorithms for signatures (PGPainless does so by default), or change PGPainless' algorithm policy to accept SHA-1.
